Join us for two evenings of mesmerizing Indian music performed by Shyan Kishore, Sandeep Mishra and Masha in the Yantra Hall.

Featuring the magical sounds of classical musical instruments such as the Bansuri (bamboo flute), Sarangi and Tanpura (both stringed instruments) these versatile, talented and highly experienced artists are truly passionate about sharing their music with the world. Their performances combine both classical and contemporary influences to create a rich and stunning soundscape of beautiful Indian music.

Artist Biographies:

Shyan Kishore: Bansuri flute
Shyan has studied under renowned musical director and flautist Pandit Hariprasad Chaurasia. He has also recorded six albums and performed with distinguished artists such as Sri M. BalaChandar, Deva Premal and Miten, Yangchen Lhamo.

Sandeep Mishra: Sarangi (strings)
Sandeep Mishra studied at the Sarangi Gharana school of Benaras, India. He received subsequent training from his grandfather, world-renowned Sarangi maestro Pandit Bhagwan Das Mishra and his father, Pandit Santosh Kumar Mishra.

Masha: Tanpura (stringed drone)
Masha previously studied and practiced Indian dancing before expanding her repertoire to learn the Tanpura. Masha loves the way this humble instrument can influence the atmosphere and mood of a performance.
