The discussion features an array of speakers including: Pra Ajarn Po, Abbot of Wat Suan Mokkh; Spa Samui owner Guy Hopkins; Kamalaya co-founder Karina Stewart; The Dharma Healing Centre's Hillary Hitt; and Shelley Poplak, Tamarind Springs co-founder & Samui Mala Festival Coordinator. 7.30pm - A Conversation Among Friends
A panel leads this public forum in discussing challenges arising from the earlier debate and in considering foundations for evolution. All are welcome to stay after the forum for more music and conversation. Oh, and bring a book on healing to donate – you'll be helping to build the new healing library at June's Bophut Cafà©!
We really hope you'll be able to join us for the Kamalaya event. To do so, just send the names of people in your party to Gaby Gubler at marketing(at)kamalaya.com or call Margaret Rankin at 081 271 3465.
For those of you not yet familiar with the Samui Mala Festival, it began two years ago as a one-day event celebrating healthy living in a healthy environment. But Samui residents and visitors alike responded with overwhelming support, and this year's Mala is a full-blown festival: It's happening Sept. 19 to 27 at venues all over the island. It'll be packed with exciting events & performances, but it won't be the same without YOU! So bookmark www.samuimala.org, and we'll tell you about all the attractions as they develop!
