The Feldenkrais Method: Functional Integration
Through slow gentle movements to align the body for the highest function, the Feldenkrais Method can assist you to improve your movement, balance, or anything that impairs your activity. The body was designed to exist in a natural state of grace and ease, allowing energy to flow. When the body is relaxed, the mind is also able to be at peace and achieve deeper states of consciousness. This is a powerful and transformative method releasing conditioning and habitual stress patterns assisting the body to function in its pure form and thus freeing the mind so we can quickly adapt to change. It has been effective for athletes, performers, artists, business people or anybody who would like support for making changes in their lives.
Jacqueline Bayne has been a certified Feldenkrais Practitioner since 1994 with a practice in Phoenix, Arizona. She came to the Method following a foot injury from Ballet and was so captivated by the rapid recovery that she entered the training. She has found that the principles have had a profound effect on her other work as a facilitator in the transformational process using dream work, breath work and inquiry. Assisting Maria Elena Cairo they hold workshops deepening into the Mystery in the United States and Mexico with the help of Mayan healers.
