Kundalini Yoga & Meditation as Taught by Yogi Bhajan with Siri Anand Kaur

Yoga in ThailandKundalini is a very direct form of yoga. As such, it has an immediate effect, unlike other forms which only tend to start working once the postures have been mastered.

Kundalini is a fast, effective and efficient practice which allows one to feel centred, happy and energized in as little as three minutes’ time. No previous experience is necessary. If you can breathe you can do it!

Classes in Kundalini Yoga are a dynamic blend of movement (formulated sets of exercises), postures, breath, sound (mantra), music and meditation. Together these teach you the art of relaxation, self-healing and elevation. The classes target areas that need work, such as the nervous system, immune system and vital organs. They also promote physical and mental flexibility, cardiovascular capability, and assist with weight management.

Through Kundalini, one can cultivate inner peace, personal power and spiritual awakening, all of which enhance your ability to enjoy life and live in grace and gratitude.

Private yoga sessions offer the benefit of one-on-one instruction tailored to your individual needs, as well as gentle, personalized guidance. Private yoga sessions help you to develop a practice to use while traveling or at home. Individual sessions are particularly beneficial if you are new to yoga, have injuries, or seek to explore and grow spiritually, physically and emotionally.

In addition to private sessions, Siri Anand teaches Kundalini Yoga classes as part of the regular Holistic Activities Schedule at Kamalaya. She has been practicing Kundalini and Hatha Yoga for 17 years, and is registered with the Yoga Alliance in the US and the International Kundalini Yoga Teachers Association.

Siri Anand earned her KRI International Level 1 Yoga Teacher Certification in Kundalini Yoga in 2001, and her Level II Yoga Teacher Certification in Mind and Meditation in 2008. She has also completed specialized meditation courses through Yoga West Khalsa Ladies Camp in Anandpur Sahib and Amritsar, India. Since 2001, Siri Anand has taught private and group yoga, pranayama and meditation classes in Canada, Taiwan, India and Thailand.
