Yoga

Yoga is a complete system for living life and conscious evolution, thus helping to create balance in your life whilst creating a flexible mind, body and soul. Physical postures, breath, and meditation are the primary aspects of this practice. In additional to classes in various styles, Kamalaya also holds 7 day Yoga Synergy retreats every month.

Pilates

Pilates is an innovative system of mind and body exercises. Pilates will develop good 'core stability' as well as encourage flexible muscles and joints, and teaches you to train using efficient patterns of motion in a safe and gentle manner.

Chi Gong

Chi Gong, 'Vital Force-Energy Cultivation', is based on ancient Chinese wisdom that promotes states of vibrant health physically, mentally, and spiritually. Chi Gong recognizes the body as a matrix of energy pathways through which the life force or "Chi" must flow smoothly in order to achieve and preserve dynamic health. Gentle movements, breathing practices, and meditation are all combined to bring about internal harmony.

Pranayama

Pranayama is the 'Science of Breath', the control of the vital force (Prana) in the air we breathe. Pranayama consists of slow, regulated deep breathing, which helps to calm the mind, balance the emotions, and reduce stress. During the session you will learn how to harmonize your breath and balance your energy.

Spirit Dance

Allow the body to feel and express emotions through free movements. Spirit Dance is a playful remedy to release tension and nurture the inner child.

Meditation

Meditation is a graceful practice for harmonizing the mind and spirit. It enables you to direct your thoughts towards a peaceful outlook in everyday situations. With practice, stress is replaced by a deep sense of peace, happiness, and harmony.

Tai Chi

Tai Chi is an ancient Chinese discipline for health, relaxation, and meditation. Using gentle movements in combination with breathing, Tai Chi is great to release tension, maintain and enhance suppleness and tone, and promote a heightened integration of body, mind, and spirit.
