Iridology is an ancient science of reading the iris, assisting the practitioner, to identify constitutional strengths and weakness, physiological tendencies and emotional patterns through the eyes. The first recorded sources of iris analysis reach back to 1000 B.C. in India, Egypt and China.  Modern Iridology started in the mid 1800’s when Hungarian physician Ignatz Von Peczely began researching and mapping organs in the iris. At Kamalaya, Jennifer Thompson, our Certified Iridologist, will offer this session.

The iris is like a fingerprint. Color, pigmentations, structure and other characteristics of the iris provide information about the individual’s health and well being.  Iridologists can assess areas of inflammation, acidity, toxicity, deficiency and circulatory weakness. Iridologists are not concerned with disease names, but with the restoration and maintenance of health, improving elimination and enhancing the life force. The eyes really are the windows to the soul!

Clients should leave the iris consultation having obtained an understanding of:

- What physical factors contributed to their present complaints
- How past suppressions set up their current problems
- What lifestyle & emotional factors have contributed to their current situation
- What areas need support or treatment to increase vitality or regain balance
- How to maintain health and practice preventative medicine
